Melissa Hall Paralegal and Business Manager

Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Melissa obtained her bachelor’s degree from Centre College with a major in English in 2001. After working as a legal assistant for a few years in both Lexington and Louisville, she went back to school to earn a Masters in Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Melissa has worked for Maloney Law as a paralegal since she and her husband, Scott, moved to Charlotte in 2008. Melissa is an avid supporter of the Charlotte Ballet and is a current member and past Vice President of the Corps de Ballet volunteer group. In 2014, she co-chaired a fundraiser for Charlotte Ballet’s outreach/diversity program that raised $50,000. Melissa served as Board Secretary for St. Martins Episcopal Preschool. Melissa and Scott have a daughter who was born in 2015. She is a Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s troop. She also supports the Humane Society of Charlotte and fosters kittens when she can.
